My 1990 Nissan Skyline GTR is a 2-owner car. I bought it from auction in Japan and shipped over to the USA in 2015 right when it turned 25 years old. The review video by Pacific Coast Auto goes over the car before it was shipped to the USA.

The reason I am selling the car is because I just don’t have the time to enjoy the car like it should be enjoyed anymore. I’m getting older and would like to get something newer and quieter lol. This car is an experience to drive, and it turns heads everywhere it goes, which is what I love about it. But at the same time, it is a raw driving experience and is sometimes not what I am in the mood for when wanting to go for a cruise. I’ve had the car for around 10 years and it’s time for a change for me. My loss is your gain!
The stock twin turbos have been swapped with a custom Precision 6266 Gen2 ball-bearing single turbo setup, which in my opinion makes the car sound and feels much better than upgraded twins. The stock engine was removed and built to support over 800-1000HP in 2017. My goal for the car was to have a fun and fast 600+HP streetcar that I could take racing when I wanted to. The car dyno’d at 617whp on pump E85 and has flex fuel tuning for 93 octane as well thru the Haltech Platinum Pro ECU. The power can be increased, but I only wanted around 600HP as the car was mainly for the street and didn’t want to push the stock transmission too much more.
The paint is original on the car and is a rarer color than the typical gunmetal grey you see on most of these cars, with the 732 – Black Pearl Metallic. The paint does have some scuffs and knicks in a few places, but doesn’t stand out like a sore thumb, as well as some small dents that could be easily removed with paintless dent repair if you wanted. But overall, the paint and body are in very good condition for 35 years old. I think a nice professional detail would remove swirling and water spots with ease.
The car’s frame rails do have some smushing that came this way when I received the car. I’ve taken care to use rubber blocks with a QuickJack hydraulic lift when needing to lift the car on the frame rails. When jackstands were used they were put in proper placements not using the frame rails. There is little surface rust on some of the components on the underbody, but no major rust anywhere on the body or structural areas.
The car has a Motive Headlight Duct on the passenger side of the car for increase airflow to the turbo, but I will include 2 extra OEM headlight housings if you want to put it back to stock orientation. The stock headlight housing has been retrofit with newer technology HID projector and bulb, as well as blacked out housing for a more aggressive look.
The current wheels and tires on the car are for a “meaty”, more traction-oriented setup with Kansei KNP 17” wheels and Mickey Thompson ET Street drag radials. If you prefer, I can put the street wheels and tires on which are Enkei RS05RR 18” wheels and Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport tires. We could also work out a deal if you wanted both sets of wheels and tires.
The interior of the car is very clean and in the same shape as it was when I received the car from Japan. The dash is bubble and crack free, with working clock and stock gauges. The stock steering wheel has been replaced with a quick release Momo steering wheel. The steering wheel can be detached, and an included NRG hub lock can be put on to provide more security for the car to help from being stolen. The rear interior quarter window surrounds have some sagging of the stock wrapping, but I have both sides brand new in box from Nissan, to replace them with. I just haven’t the time to do it.
